Set up a wordpress email address

Hello,
I am very happy with my wordpress site and would now like to add it’s own email address to it instead of having all contact forwarded to my gmail account.
This is important to me so I can use an email address on my businesscard which corresponds to the website ( (email visible only to moderators and staff)).
How do I create such an email address?

There are two options for setting up a custom email address:
- Email forwarding, which forwards emails to a custom address to an address you already own. You can read more about that here:
- A custom email address, which would have a separate inbox but would be completed through a third-party as explained here:

I have installed the forwarding servuce from my CONTACT page to my gmail account and it works. What I would like is an ema address linked to the we site that I can use for my businesscard. like f.ex info it is perfectly om for me if all mails comming in at this address are eing forwarded as well. I just wat to set it up and ca not find how. For all I know it is possible in both the options you gave. looking forward to hearing from you again (-:

There really is just one big difference between email forwarding and the custom email option. In the email forwarding option, emails sent to a custom address that you have setup are forwarded to an address you already own (like a Gmail address). Then, when you reply, you would be replying from that Gmail address.
With the custom address, you would have a completely new and separate inbox for your custom email address. Replies to emails would be coming from your custom address as well.
The deciding factors are as follows:
1. Do you want replies you send to come from your custom address or are you okay with them coming from your Gmail address?
2. Do you want a new inbox specifically setup for your info@ address?
3. Do you mind paying for a custom email? (You would need to setup info@ through a third party).
