Set up delayed post to Twitter, but it's posted half an hour LATER on Twitter

    Hi I’ve done this before with no problem, however I set up a blog post to go live at 9am, but it didn’t publicize on Twitter until 9.30. It says it published at 9am on WordPress? Anyone know why? Thanks

    When you schedule a post the post doesn’t actually publish at that time (though in my experience it does appear in the Reader at the scheduled time):

    Scheduled posts will be triggered by the first visit to your blog on or after the exact date/time you set.http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/

    I imagine the same applies to Publicize. The message to your linked accounts only goes out the moment someone views your blog and triggers the post’s publication.
