set up direct links

  I have a set my blog link into my web site http://www.merwingroup.com
  When selecting the Blog http://smartgrid-merwingroup.com/blog/ we receive the 404 – Page not found
  If we set the link to the Blog http://smartgrid-merwingroup.com/ that page opens fine. However, then need to make another selection or role down the page to view the Blog
  So, I am told if Word Press “set up direct link” onto the page contacting the Blog the matter could be resolved

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to do. Your blog is available at smartgrid-merwingroup.com.

  If you’d like your blog to be available at smartgrid-merwingroup.com/blog, you can do this by going to Pages and creating a page titled Blog. Then go to Settings > Reading. Set your Front Page to a static page, and select Blog as your Posts page.
