Set up issues

    Hi

    I am new to wordpress and it is taking me hours (with wp help and the help of internet searches) to get even my initial setup working.

    I am trying to establish a static homepage and a blog using the motif theme by automatic. Every time I create my first page, it appears as two pages – 1 static and 1 blog. The problem is that in wp admin, it only looks like the static page exists. How do I rename and reorder the blog page? At the moment it is appearing as the landing page on my website and is the first thing on the horizontal menu. Both the blog and the static page also have the same name.

    I don’t know or understand any code, so I will need this spelled out for me. Apologies if it is something really obvious that I am missing, but any help greatly appreciated.

    I can see that you were able to setup a static front page for your site, and a separate posts page, after visiting your site at ballymartrimfarm.wordpress.com. Great! If you do have extra questions while setting things up, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
