  Hi
  I’m getting in a kuffuffle!
  Ive just bought the domain through Ground Site, which I thought was still WordPress. I’ve have WordPress emails since doing so which indicates I was correct in that thinking.

  But I can’t seem to access the website to edit it through the WordPress app.

  I’m also linked in through WooCommerce so not sure if that links into this too.

  Correct account: Unknown

  Hello there,

  I’m getting in a kuffuffle!

  Not unusual.

  There are two types of WordPress. WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org).

  Self-hosted WordPress is where the free, open source software is downloaded from WordPress.org and installed on a server, this is what Siteground does.

  The two types of WordPress are considered separate entities.

  But I can’t seem to access the website to edit it through the WordPress app.

  You would need to connect the site from Siteground to WordPress.com and this can be done with the Jetpack plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/
