set up new site

  Hi
  I want to create another site – a premium site with my own domain. I don’t want it attached to my current site or added as a blog.
  I tried amending to a different email address in order to set up another site but this didn’t work.
  Please advise how I can do this?

  Hi there,

  You can use your existing account to create a new site with Premium Plan using your own domain.

  Refer below link to see how you can add new site in existing account,

  When you are at the page to select domain for your new site, click on ‘Use a domain I own’ option at the end of the page.

  You will get below two options, select one which suits your requirement.

  1. Transfer to WordPress.com
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  2.

  Map your domain

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Above both options will need any of the upgraded WordPress.com plan to use your own domain. You can choose plan of your choice.

  Hi

  thanks for the advice. I already created a new site to my current domain but I don’t want them linking and I don’t want them to have the same domain.

  I would rather two completely separate sites, even if one is paid and the other free. It won’t allow me because my email address is the same on the both and I can’t seem to change it.
