set up wordpress.com account with someone else's email address

  So, I registered a premium wordpress account and accidentally registered it under an email account that belongs to someone I don’t know. I wanted to register it as (email visible only to moderators and staff) and instead registered it under (email visible only to moderators and staff). Because of this, I haven’t been able to authenticate the account, or even have access to the website dashboard, etc. I don’t know the person with the aforementioned email and have tried contacting them. They have not gotten back to me and probably won’t.

  So my question is this — how do I rectify this problem. I need to authenticate the account but cannot because I sent it to an email address I do not have access to. I need to then change the email information so that it reflects my actual email address. Note: this is a premium business account so I’ve already paid $400 for it. Please please please help!
