Set whole site’s privacy settings to ‘private’
-
I’d like to make my whole site private. That is, so that anyone visiting it has to log in to view the home page, or any of the other pages/images/files. According to this page about privacy settings, in my dashboard, under ‘Settings,’ I should be able to scroll down and see a section called ‘Privacy,’ with radio buttons for ‘Coming Soon,’ ‘Public,’ or ‘Private.’ And ‘Private’ is what I need. Except that section isn’t there!
I do have a section called ‘Launch Site.’ Maybe it’s not there because I haven’t launched the site yet? I’m trying to do this thing for a community organization, for free.
Thanks.

I meant to include this link to the page about privacy settings: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

Answered my own question: launched the site, then had the privacy settings option, and succeeded in making the site private. Thanks though.
