Setting a blog slider on a static home page.

  Hey guys.
  I’m relatively new to this, I’ve never attempted to make a blog slider on a static home page so any help would be massively appreciated.
  I’ve looked around on other forum posts and set a couple test posts to sticky, with appropriate tags and made the images at least 500px wide but no luck.

  Could there be some short code I’d need like for setting portfolios or general settings I’ve missed out or is it something to do with the theme… Or something completely different?

  Hi,

  Are you referring to a post slider? In order to display a post slider you’ll have to choose from one of the WordPress.com themes that feature a posts slider. The Gateway theme doesn’t feature a post slider.
