Setting a category for one of my posts

  I edited one of my posts and check the box to add the post to my ‘latest posts’ category’ and to my ‘notables’ category, then click the ‘update’ link and the updates aren’t updating! Will I be notified of a ‘fix’ or with any comments by email? My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Are you saying the categories did not save when you added them to a post? Can you please give a link to the post where you made these changes?

  Does using a different browser to make these changes make any difference?

  I first used Safari and I just tried using Google Chrome. Using both, when I look at the ‘catagories’ list both catagories I selected are checked but when I save and try looking at the ‘latest update’ selection the last selection that I made are shown. but it does reflect what I just made.the Link is …https://wordpress.com/view/cv11texfcm.wordpress.com

  Hi there,

  What is the post title of the link are you having trouble changing the categories of?

  I’ve looked at both the FCM Notables and A – LATEST ENTRIES/UPDATES 08/26/2018 category pages and see posts are appearing in these categories:

  https://cv11texfcm.wordpress.com/category/a-latest-entries-updates-08-26-2018/

  If you could provide a post title or link and the steps you are taking to change those categories that can help us figure out if something is wrong.

  Thanks you, and I hope you got my other response telling you I found the posts, but at the very bottom of all of the other posts.

  I don’t see any replies from besides the ones visible on this page, but I’m glad to hear you found them.

  If there were older posts, then it’s normal that they will appear at the bottom of the category page. Category pages, just like the posts page on your site, order posts with the most recent post at the top. This is based on the post’s publication date, not on the date on which you added the category.
