Setting a private area in wordpress.com

Hello. I use Dynamic News Theme in wordpress.com

I’m trying to build a private area in my wordpress.com page.

I see that I can introduce post and pages with a password. It’s a possibility, but it is not exactly what I’m looking for.

I also see that I can set a content as “private”, but I don’t know exactly what that means, because when I set a content private I don’t know how the users can access to it. Is there the possibility to set users and passwords in wordpres.com so that a content (page, post…) can only be read for authorized users?

What are the possibilities for setting a private area in my wordpress.com site?

    Thank you very much

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Your whole site can either be private, meaning that readers must have a WordPress.com account and be invited. Or individual posts and pages can be set to private and anyone with the password can read them.
