Setting an 'About' page as my Home Page

    I am trying and failing to figure out how to set a static home page that works like a screen-sized business card. I want it to display just the few lines of text I have prepared: a description of my ethos/interests as a writer and forthcoming work, links to past published work, and contact info. It should not have date/time of post, or a comment box. I write long form, am at work on several projects, and do not have time to write frequent updates (even if I did, I would still want the About page as my Home page).

    Hi there,

    You should be able to do this with a Static Front Page. Launch your Site Customizer, then go to your sidebar menu, click Static Front Page, and set the option to A Static Page. Then choose your About page from the dropdown, and save your changes.
