setting featured image

  I have set the featured image to many posts, but sometimes it won’t work. The funny thing is that even though the photo doesn’t come up on my website, when I cut and pasted the post to my facebook page, the correct photo came up. Any ideas??

  The header image area has specific dimensions. A featured image cannot replace the regular header image if it’s smaller.

  Thanks for that info. So should I be altering something in the dashboard? I know if I go into the media part of the dashboard there is an image size section. Should I be alterting that, and if so, what should I change it too?

  No, you should select and upload images that are at least as large as the header image (960×260 pixels).
