Setting featured image

  I use the Twenty Ten theme. It used to be that when I used the “Set featured image” link, that photo would be the one that shows up on Facebook when I share my post. Now, it also changes that top picture from the lovely scene we selected to the new featured image, which I don’t want to happen because I get a long, narrow slice of the picture (heads cut off, only a portion of the subject), which already exists in the body of the post. What am I doing wrong?

  Hi there!

  The Twenty Ten theme automatically uses your Featured Image as a custom header. This is mentioned on the theme info page here:

  https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/

  If this wasn’t happening before, its likely because of the size of your images. If your image is too small, we can’t turn it into a header image. The header image size is 940 in width and 198 in height, but the featured image requirements may be slightly different.
