Setting Featured Image through Post-By-Email

  So, I write for a WordPress site and don’t always have access to the site. However, I still want to add posts to the site, so I use the post-by-email feature to add posts to the site. It does everything I need it to do but one: it doesn’t let you set the Featured Image, at least I think it doesn’t. This creates an issue because without setting that there’s no header image on the homepage. The only way around this is to either A) write the post and post it when I can directly access the site or B) post the story and just add the Featured Image later. Is there anyway around this? Thanks.

  Unfortunately, you are right that at present there is no way to set a featured image using the post by email feature. I have passed the suggestion along to our team as a great idea for a future enhancement.
