Setting my domain as primary

    I purchased a domain through another domain site. This was less than 60 days ago and I just purchased a business plan to link the site and start building here on wordpress.com. When can I set my the domain to my site as primary instead of ‘domainname.wordpress.com’?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

  • Hey there @campbellclarkad9df60258! You are welcome to connect the domain now using these steps, then transfer when the domain is more than 60 days old.

    If you connect the domain and update its name servers, it should start working as fast as the internet can forget the old settings (usually within a few hours.) Once you connect, if you’ll update us here, we’d be happy to check your settings for you if you’d like.

    Also, are you using mail with the domain currently? We can check those settings, too.
