Setting Page Attributes
-
I’m having trouble understanding HOW to the page attributes to Generate a Page Hierarchy as defined in the ‘Help’ Via New page.
Parent – You can arrange your pages in hierarchies. For example, you could have an “About” page that has “Life Story” and “My Dog” pages under it. There are no limits to how many levels you can nest pages.
Template – Some themes have custom templates you can use for certain pages that might have additional features or custom layouts. If so, you’ll see them in this dropdown menu.
Order – Pages are usually ordered alphabetically, but you can choose your own order by entering a number (1 for first, etc.) in this field.
I know as This Blog Grows Via it’s intent I will need this to organize all of the impending information
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The best advice is to forget pages. Use posts. Pages have zero googlejuice, they are nearly invisible to search engines, and are designed for information which is not fresh and never changes, like bios. Use posts for your content, and use categories and/or tags appropriately, and search engines will rank you and people will be able to navigate your blog easily.
Also ALWAYS have a search bar. Some people only use search.

If you wish to turn page C into a child of page P, you edit C, select P from the “Parent” pulldown, click Update.
Alternative: forget the page attributes and create a custom menu. See here:
