Setting poster frames for embedded movies

Hi, I’ve embedded lots of movies onto my wordpress site (dustinmclean.wordpress.com) and they work fine. However my problem is that after I set the poster frame in quicktime, the poster frame is not displayed when imported into wordpress. After a bit of googling of this problem I noticed that the term poster frame can refer to 2 different things. Sometimes it refers to creating a seperate 1 second file that is used to represent a movie and sometimes it means the frame that is shown when the movie is displayed in the finder or elsewhere. I’m referring to the latter. For example, on the “ads” page of my wordpress site (dustinmclean.wordpress.com), the first movie is an advertisement which, when not playing, shows a guy wearing make up. I want this to display the logo of the client which comes up at the end. I acheived this in quicktime but then imported it into wordpress and it went back to the make up guy. I’ve just examined all of the embedded movies and noticed that it appears that the default poster frame in WordPress is exactly the middle of the movie. Does anyone have any ideas on how to change this? Thanks in advance.

Direct link http://dustinmclean.wordpress.com/ (including the http part makes it clickable)

As I understand it, there is no way to set the frame which shows up in the video. This has been requested before and the best bet for you would be to contact support and let them know that it is important to you.
