Posts are entries that display in reverse chronological order on your blog’s front page.
That means you don’t have to do anything to make your latest post appear at the top of your front/home page!
Everytime you write a new post, it will automatically be at the top. Older posts will be below it on the blogging/posting page. -
Please note that there is a difference between posts and pages.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/If you are writing on pages rather than on your “posting page” then you are making a blogging “mistake.”
Pages are supposed to be static information which you write on only one time. Like an “about” page.
Your posting “page” is dynamic. Every time you write an article/post, then it will show at the top of that “page.”
Posts can be tagged, categorized, and can use RSS feeds. Pages can not.
