setting static page for a website

    HI
    I’m trying to set the static home page on the Stay theme, and have created the pages. But when I do the next step, going to the Setttings – Reading – Front Page Displays – Static Pages, the only option available for Front Page is the “About” page. The only option available for Posts Page is “About Page”. I have the pages published privately, as I am not ready to have the website found. Am I missing a step?
