Setting static page width and Height using CSS for the Expound Theme

    Hello,

    Can anyone provide the correct CSS code for setting static page width and height. Specifically…for pages entitled “Purpose”, “About” and “Disclaimer”?

    Thank you very much in advance!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, can you explain what you are trying to achieve? Setting a static height for page content could possibly make some of the content not visible to visitors, especially on a responsive theme such as Expound. Narrow your browser window and see how the content gets longer on narrower screens.

    Hi

    I’d like to change the height of the About and Disclaimer pages to equal that of the Purpose page. More specifically, I’d like to see the bottom edge of the white area on the About and Disclaimer pages to be in the same location horizontally when clicking between them via browser. Hope this is a clear enough explanation :-). btw…clicked on the link to the right of your pic. Interesting blog and awesome pics! Looks like a great place to live and a great life! My wife would love it! :-) Hope that I don’t get in trouble for posting non-technical comments here.

    No worries, and thanks for the compliment. My site hasn’t gotten much attention from me over the past few years. Hopefully at some point I’ll get back to it.

    We can set a minimum height for the #page div, but as you will see it puts the extra space below the copyright and footer credits.

    #page {
        min-height: 822px;
    }

    The other option is to set a minimum height on #main div like this.

    #main {
        min-height: 526px;
    }

    Both of the above set the min heights for all pages and posts, not just about and disclaimer. That way if you add additional pages with shorter content, they will have that same minimum height as well.

    Absolutely! Hope that you’re able to get back to your blog at some point!

    Thanks much for your help! I went with your second option. It worked perfectly!

    Again…thanks! Have a great rest of the day!
