Setting the order of displayed posts is too basic to not have!

  Setting the order of displayed posts – either ascending or descending (numerically and/or alphabetically) is such a basic feature that I’m surprised it hasn’t already been included.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I agree. One more reason why I prefer pages to posts.
