  I’d like to ring a WordPress site designer as I’m a novice and just setting up a site that will be both a blog and a place to advertise my editing skills.

  WordPress.com comes with a wide range of templates which are easy to customize and there is a lot of documentation that can help you get your website just right in case you got stuck, in addition, you could always seek assistance in this forum or from Live support if you have an upgraded subscription. I’m confident you can design your own beautiful site even as a novice.:)
