Setting up a 2nd blog
-
I previously set-up a blog called teammatesinlife.wordpress.com (TIL). Presently I’m trying to set-up a 2nd blog. My new domain hotseatsports.com (HSS) was not registered with WordPress.com, but I mapped it by updating the Name Servers. When I review My Domains there are 2 showing – HSS and TIL. I made HSS my primary domain. However, I cannot figure out how to start my new blog HSS. Both domains direct you to teammatesinlife of which I do not want. Whenever I try to change the Username from TIL to HSS in Account Options it won’t let me because it says HSS already exists. Whenever I review My Blogs it only shows 1 blog (TIL). I want 2 separate blogs, but can’t get my HSS blog to work. How can I get my HSS blog set-up. Any help would be greatly appreciated…please let me know if you need more information to better understand my problem. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like you mapped both domains to the same blog, so you will need to create the second blog before you can map the second domain to it.
Go here: https://wordpress.com/my-blogs/ and click “create another blog” to create the second site.
Once you have the two separate sites, a staff member should be able to sort out making sure each domain is mapped to the right blog.

Thank you so much. However, each time I attempt to Create Another Blog and I put hotseatsports in the Blog Address I’m told that address already exists. But that’s because it’s my domain. I don’t know how to get past creating a new blog because each time I try it stops me because HSS already exists. Do you have any idea how I can fix this or get past this problem? Once I can get my new blog started I will definitely do as you suggest by following up with a staff member to sort out making sure each domain is mapped correctly. Thanks again.

Does this site belong to you: http://hotseatsports.wordpress.com/?
If not, the problem is that someone else has already claimed that domain which is why you can’t get past that point in the process.
I recommend you create a blog with a slightly different address–(maybe hotseatsportsonline.wordpress.com or hotseatsports2.wordpress.com.
Since you are planning to map a domain to the new site, the **.wordpress.com domain doesn’t matter so much.
Then, you will be able to create the new blog and get to the part where you sort out which domain name goes where.

You’re awesome. Thank you. I set-up a new blog with a different name/different domain. However, I now can’t find or can’t get to my previous blog TeammatesInLife (TIL). When I select My Blogs both my new blog & TIL appear, but I can’t access TIL. I don’t want to lose or delete TIL – I still want access to it & want to continue designing it. Do you know what I need to do to access TIL? Once I can access TIL again, I will then begin designing my new blog called SayItAllSports. Thanks again a million times over.

When I go to http://teammatesinlife.wordpress.com/ the site does seem to appear. I can also see a site at SayItAllSports.com (although it seems to be empty).
What happens if you paste http://teammatesinlife.wordpress.com/ in your browser’s address bar and then try to access your dashboard from there?

Hi there!
I just visited both teammatesinlife.wordpress.com and sayitallsports.com and they both seem to be working properly. Are you still having issues viewing one or both of these sites?
-
Hello to both of you. Nope, no more problems. Everything is working great. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Have a great rest of the day.
