Setting up a blog on WordPress

  I have two accounts on WordPress. Neither have been used yet, and I’d like to start using one. I thought the accounts were free, but it’s saying that I need to pay $99 for the blog. I’m thinking something went wrong in what I chose for set-up and I’d like to correct it so I can get started. Thanks!

  Hi there
  Is it possible you were trying to get an upgrade to go with your blog? If you are trying to get a domain or more storage space you need an upgraded plan. If you do not select a plan, the system defaults to the Premium plan.

  If you simply want a Domain, the Personal Plan comes with a domain credit so you do not need to purchase a domain on top of the plan cost.
