Setting up a forum

  I’m trying to set up a Forum, following the instructions in the book,
  “Teach Youself WordPress”. but it doesn’t work.
  What am I doing wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That book applies to WordPress.ORG installs and you have a free hosted WordPress.COM blog.

  There no message boards, forums or wikis that you can embed into a free hosted WordPress.com blog because there is no FTP access and we cannot upload plugins. However, you have three free workaround forum options: http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/04/23/wordpress-com-forum-options/
