Setting Up A Gallery
-
Yes I looked through Support before coming here.
I have a Gallery page saved with ULed photos. I just finished editing one of them from the vertical list where you click on “SHOW” to the right which expands to show editing options for that pic like add in Title, Description, Thumbnail Size, etc.Rather than stay in there and work through the entire list of photos right then I edited one pic then saved out and went to see what it looked like on the blog.
Now I want to go back in and work on the rest of the pics. Can’t get there.
I click on Pages, I chose the Page I want to work in and it brings up the edit window. But the edit window is displaying the last picture I worked on. I click in the window to bring up the Edit and Delete buttons in the upper left? But these affect the image that is showing only.
I can’t get the vertical list of all the pics to display again. Where did it go?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@deftlyspun: I’m not seeing such a page in the blog linked to your username. Are you talking about a different blog?
@itspak: Please refrain from posting meaningless replies.

itspak – Am not beating up on you here but your relply reminds me of something I learned which may help others.
panaghiotisadam correct me if I am wrong.
If you load photos directly in Media Library you can not then use them to set up a Gallery. You have to upload the photos as part of the Gallery set up process.

Re your original question: You mean you have inserted one image in the page and you want to insert other images already uploaded to your blog. To do that, you get to the page editor window, place the cursor below the existing image,* then click the Add Media tool (next to “Upload/Insert”), then click the Media Library tab.
* Since the image is very large, it’s easier to switch the editor to HTML and place the cursor below the existing code.
Re your new question: if you mean the WP gallery feature, then you’re right, you can’t use images already in your media library. The gallery feature works with images “attached” to a post or a page; that is, images uploaded from your computer via the Add Media tool of that post or page.
But you can create a gallery post/page in the general sense of the word (a post/page that displays a group of images) using images from your media library, if you insert them one by one as per your previous question.
The obvious advantage of the WP gallery feature is that it allows you to upload, insert and arrange all the images at once.

Using the Gallery feature with “includes” and the image ID number will create a Gallery from existing images in the Media Library. Example here: http://agallerydemo.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/include-from-media-library-gallery/
However it is labor intensive to set this up if you have a lot of images you want to display. Better to reupload them to the post/page you want to attach them to.
