Setting up a new dummy site

    Hi!
    We have a website with wordpress.
    This needs a refresh – and I want to change the theme. However, I would like to keep the website live and functional whilst I redesign. Is there a way that I can build a new website, and then transfer the account over?

    I think you can activate under construction page and redesign your website. I done this before on my website [link redacted by staff]

    Hi there,

    What is your site? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites on WordPress.com.

    This will depend both on where your current site is hosted, and whether or not you want to create your new site at the same host, or here with us.
