  trying to set up a new theme but there is to much of other stuff that i didn’t mean to have on it and don’t know how to get it off

  If you can list the things you wanted to remove, I can give you instructions or send you support docs to help you on cleaning them up.

  Hi there,

  When you activate a theme, there are default things like Widgets on the sidebar or footer or header. you can get rid of them, here’s how you customize the theme.
  My Sites> Themes > Customize

  There’s an option to delete it or add new whenever you want.
