Setting up a page for downloads

  There’s probably a page that tells how to do what I want to do, but I can’t seem to locate it. I would like to set up a page which contains links to pdf files available for download, and also to be able to store those files on the WordPress server. If someone can point me to the appropriate instructional page, I would greatly appreciate it.

  Thanks, but that’s not really what I’m wanting to do. I want to have a page labelled “Downloads” (for instance) with text on the page. In the body of the text, I want to have links to pdf files stored on my site. When the links to the files are clicked on, they open up in a separate window (not a page formatted for my site). Kinda like this:

  Here is some really cool stuff you might want to download.

  Link 1

  Link 2

  Link 3

  etc.

  I think this tells how to do this – Uploading Documents. It says “Note: The following processes are outlined particularly for users who wish to upload a document and add its download link to a blog post or page.”
