Setting up a site under a new .blog domain

Hi, I am trying to set up a new site under a new .blog domain name that I purchased a while ago. I’m having difficulty trying to do so. Can anybody please help me out with this. I either want to set up a new site, or transfer content from a site : example.wordpress.com, or make the new domain the name for the old site eg.: johndoe.blog

I would appreciate help on this issue. Thank you.

  • Hi there,

That domain is not registered with us. If you submitted an early application for that domain on get.blog, please email help @ get.blog for support. We’re only able to help with domains that were registered with us since general availability started yesterday.

Hi. I don’t know how that last line ended up there with the domain of paintdrawscribble.

The domain name I’m having problems with is sunilbolar.blog . I do believe it has been registered with your organisation. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you for the prompt reply.

    Regards,
    Sunil

From the questions about .blog I understand that I have to remake my blog(s) allover if I do that? And that there are some issues?
I also see the word “purchase” but I have recieved no information about the price. Having been a bit busy, it is true that I may have overlooked some information, so I appologize for that. But can you help me understand in brief what would happen if I make the transfer, please?
    Thank you!

Can you please start your own thread at this link:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1

Add the tags “modlook” and “dotblog” to your thread, and also please include information on the domain you tried to buy and we will help you there.
