Setting up Akismet

  I have acted the Akisment plugin and tried to put in the API key, but every time I try to do so I am told: There was a problem connecting to the Akismet server. Please check your server configuration.

  Can anyone tell me what I can do to correct this?

  Since akismet is automatic here, none of the volunteers know anything about it really. I would suggest contacting http://akismet.com support.

  It could very well be simply a server outage, or perhaps a kink on the internet.
