Setting up an account in WordPress.com and then changing to WordPress.org.

  I am setting up a website and recently set up an account via WordPress.com, but then realised I wanted to set up separate hosting, so have done it now via WordPress.org. Should I now cancel the WordPress.com account and permanently delete it, or are they somehow related as I have used the same email address?

  Up to you to decide. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate and not connected.

  You may choose to delete your WordPress.com account or leave it just like it. Your choice.
