Setting up an online marketplace like Etsy or Gumtree

    Hi there!

    I’m looking to set up an online marketplace like Etsy or Gumtree on WordPress for the disability community in Adelaide, Australia.

    We want our disability community to be able to sell goods and services on our website.

    We don’t want to be responsible for payments; we want to facilitate a payment between the vendor and the payer through both PayPal and a credit card.

    I know it’s possible to divy up payments between the payer and the payee using the WooCommerce plugin. Is it possible to do this with a credit card transaction on WordPress?

    All that you describe can be done with the WooCommerce plugin and the Product Vendors extension (https://woocommerce.com/products/product-vendors/).

    Please note that to set that us here on WordPress.com you’ll need to upgrade to our Business or eCommerce plan.
