Setting up blog

    Hi. I’m trying to set up my first blog. I want to start with the free plan with the .wordpress.com domain. When I go through the setup wizard it asks me to choose a domain with no option to use the free domain.

    How can I setup the blog with the free domain?

    Hi there!

    You can launch your site without the need to upgrade. When you’re prompted to choose a domain, choose a free subdomain, like yourgroovysite.wordpress.com and click on the last option and Skip purchase.
