Setting up blog to use domain

  I bought a domain this morning, and then created a simple (free) blog and then paid the 13 bucks to map the domain to that site, then went and set up the dns settings for wordpress on my registars site account (enom). Will I still need to buy web hosting? I would assume so, but want to be sure before spending any more money.

  Also if I do need to buy hosting could someone explain how to use the blog I already created with a newly purchased web hosting subscription (godaddy will likely be the host) so I don’t have to pay 13 bucks again to get the domain mapped?

  Any other information or advice is greatly welcomed.
