Setting Up Domain

I purchased a domain @ wordpress and is trying to set it up.
I keep getting the message ‘churchill.blog is taken.
If you purchased churchill.blog elsewhere, you can map it for $13.00.’The domain was not purchased elsewhere, why should I still pay to map?
I have already paid for this

It appears that when you tried to register that domain in November, there was an error which made our system think the domain was never registered. So the upgrade was removed from your account and your payment was refunded. You should have received that refund by now.
But I just double-checked, and the domain is indeed registered. If you can tell me to which of the sites in your account you want the domain connected, I can activate it for you right away.

I will prefer that you add it as a new site.

Please use this link to create a new site, and let me know the address once you’ve done that.

When you create the new site, be sure to only select a free address, and you can select the free plan, unless you want a paid plan on the site.

When you registered the domain you received an email saying that the domain has a trademark claim pending against it. I just need to point out that that is still in effect, so for the time being it’s not possible to activate private registration on your domain.
But otherwise the domain is now active and you can use it.
