Setting up Email DNS

  Ive been trying to set up my email DNS stuff with details I got from my domain host, but it doesnt seem to work at all and I cant work it out!

  These are details I got given. My domain host is with crazydomains.com.au

  truezebras.com. –> MX Record priority 0 –> mail.truezebras.com.
  mail.truezebras.com. –> A Record –> 27.124.117.33
  webmail.truezebras.com. –> A Record –> 27.124.117.33

  Website – http://www.truezebras.com or actual hosted one on here is truezebras.net

  Hi there – the format for Crazydomains DNS is:

  A webmail 27.124.117.33
  A mail 27.124.117.33
  MX 0 mail.truezebras.com.

  Please paste this into your Custom DNS area and let me know if you have any trouble.

  Awesome thanks for that. It saved the new DNS stuff so assume it worked!! Do i just do it on the .com one or do i need to edit .net aswell?

  Great – you should wait some time for the DNS to propagate and then test sending and receiving email.

  Do i just do it on the .com one or do i need to edit .net aswell?

  You’d need to set it up for whichever domains you purchased email hosting for.
