Setting Up External DNS

    Hey there,
    Really new at WordPress so forgive me for the beginner question. I was able to successfully add my custom domain name and set it as the default domain however I’m having an issue trying to set up external DNS. I can see that WordPress.com wants to be the default NS server for the domain and I can manipulate records but I’ve read a few support articles saying that I should be able to setup external NS servers under the domain settings. I’m not seeing that configuration area. Maybe that capability is only with the business plan? Any help is appreciated. Thank in advance.

    Hey Luke,
    lukeruiz.com is registered at GoDaddy. To have it point to your content on WordPress.com, the name servers need to be updated. Here’s the guide for that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
