Setting Up Google Authorship & Author Rank
-
Today I decided to start using my WordPress.com Account after approximately 2 years with Blogger, and I’d now like to setup Google Authorship & Author Rank with my Blog, this was pretty easy to do with Blogger but I can’t work out how to do it within WordPress.com.
So how do I setup Google Authorship & Author Rank with WordPress.com?

@timethief. Thanks for posting those links. Question for you: If I have already set up AuthorRank with ?rel=author tags on my wordpress.com site, will connecting my G+ profile per the instructions in the document affect the way I appear in Google Search results? I have tested my site using the Google Structured Data Testing Tool http://bit.ly/1fOsCGS and a rich snippet appears. However, when I do a search on my name, no rich snippets appear for my wordpress.com site (search results for posts made on other sites DO appear as rich snippets. Is this a WordPress thing or a Google thing? Thanks.

@tiemthief: Also, there’s nothing in your links that say you have to add your WordPress.com website/blog to the Contributor To section of your Google+ profile. I’m assuming this is still necessary to set up the “handshake”. Correct?
