setting up multiple blogs
-
I’m trying to set up a fourth blog and the system keeps telling me that wordpress is already installed on my computer and I need to delete my database tables. please help!

We operate on different software here at wordpress.com and cannot help you.

I am getting the same error trying to create another blog at wordpress.COM (not .org). It allows me to fill out the form but when I submit it, it says “You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.” If I go back and try to submit the same blog name again, it says the name is already taken. When I check the url of the blogs I’ve tried to create, it’s just a blank white screen.

Dude, I’m having the same problem. It’s really frustrating.
I just tried to add sheshatsglory.wordpress.COM and sheshatslodge.wordpress.COM (not that both are COM and not ORG). I had the same issue: it told me that WordPress was already installed, and then again that the blogs are taken.

I am having the exact same issue with agreenland.wordpress.com & aldreading.wordpress.com. I don’t think there is anything “previously” installed, because I have a brand new computer and this is my first attempt, even visit, to wordpress.COM

Wondeful! Glad I wasn’t the only one having this problem – and this was my first time ever signing up for a blog and I ran into this error. Sigh. Oh well.
Will my associated blog appear on my dashboard once this glitch is fixed? Because I really hope I didn’t lose that domain.

I just tried to register the domain I put in when I signed up, and got that installation error message, says it’s already in use – and nothing has appeared on my dashboard :-(
i’m looking to get mrphelps.wordpress.com (if you type it into your browser its just a blank page) -
-
Unfortunately, now it’s saying that all the blogs I tried to register previously have already been taken (they are still showing as blank pages). Should I just give up on those names and pick something else?

Does anyone else have access to blogs they tried to create? I received this same error message earlier, and now I can get to the global dashboard with this username, but I can’t register the blog again or access biasundone.wordpress.com.

biasundone: try contacting staff when it’s working hours as they have backend access. http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
