Setting up my account

I am trying to purchase a Premium plan for a blog that I plan to use with my current website. When I go through the setup process and I have to pick my domain name, I chose the option where I already have a domain name and then it circles me back to the page where I pick the plan (I select Premium – again) and the cycle starts all over again. I can’t select anything that isn’t part of this ridiculous loop. What am I doing wrong?

You must register an underlying .wordpress.com sub domain URL site first. If you enter a custom domain URL first you end up in the loop.
