I’ve set up Bluehost hosting and paid the fee – I’ve also tried to rename my blog Moredaysthansausages instead of sheep gutter Every time I go to the word press dash board its asking me to join monster insight and jet pack and all manner of stuff – when i watched the word press video on how to set up these didn’t appear on the page example – also i thought i’d written my first post but when I tried to edit it I got a message saying this may be an imposter site trying to get your details and rip you off. I was hoping this was all going to break straight forward as everyone has recommended you but now I just feel very confused. I look forward to hearing from you Regards Michael Cox

I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
