  I already purchased the domain hauksnest.com through godaddy. I am wanting to see how to sync that with my WordPress blog I am starting.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  If your site is hosted on WordPress.com, you can map the domain you purchased through GoDaddy to your WordPress.com site by following these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Note that you will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan to be able to map the domain to your WordPress.com account. All of the paid plans come with a domain credit, that you can use to map your domain to your site: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
