setting up online forum

  I want to set up an online forum where people join, become members, and post. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com doesn’t include a forum feature, but you can do that with a self-hosted WordPress site using the free WordPress.org software. We have more information about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

  For example, on a self-hosted WordPress site you can install bbPress to create a discussion forum on your site.

  thanks–that’s what I suspected. I’ll have to go check that out.
