setting up 'regular' website, where blog is just one page

  trying to set up my website as regular website and add blog as one page, but this whole tutorial seems dedicated to setting up a blog… Should I switch to another company? I’m confused

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  trying to set up my website as regular website and add blog as one page, but this whole tutorial seems dedicated to setting up blogs only. I do NOT want “blog” in my name. I want only the name of my actual company, and blog to just be one thing to click on (will get rid of blog if this is not possible). Please advise. My ad comes out on Monday and I need to be set up by then.

  A blog is a special kind of website where a dynamic page displays your latest posts.

  You can set up a page-based site.

  You must understand the difference between pages and posts:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  You can set up a static front page if you like:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
  If you don’t set up a “posts” page, then your site will not include a blog.
