Setting up tax exempt for the initial payment

  I tried to follow the instructions here (https://wordpress.com/support/vat-gst-other-taxes/?_gl=1*hcjjfv*_gcl_au*OTcxNjc1NzY5LjE3NTE5MDI3NTUuMTAzNjUyMjQ0NS4xNzUxOTA0Mzk2LjE3NTE5MDQ0MjI) and got this response: ‘For tax exemption requests on WordPress.com, I’d need to connect you with our human support team who can properly handle your tax documents and verify your organization’s status. Would you like me to help connect you with a support agent who can assist with this request?’ I replied ‘yes’ and the bot told me that I can’t talk to a human without a paid plan. However, I can’t pay for a paid plan without getting the sales tax removed before processing the payment! Is there someone I can email and send them the tax forms?

  You can send proof of your tax exemption to help@wordpress.com to assist with your request. Please make sure you use the registered email linked to your WordPress.com account. Your proof of tax exemption should include the following:

  • Name of your exempt organization.
  • Your tax exemption documentation.
  • Any additional information required by your government.
