setting up texting from cell – put in wrong phone number so can't activate

  I wanted to set up being able to post via texting from my cell, but I typed in the wrong number (land line) and I can’t get the settings to let me put in a different number. There is just a blank box, waiting for the activation code (which I’ll never have because of putting in the land line number). How can I put in a different number for activation? Thank you.
