Setting up video gallery for Obsidian Theme

    I have Custom Design and paid for the Obsidian premium theme thinking I could set up a video gallery referenced on their demo page: https://audiotheme.com/view/obsidian/

    But it looks like I have to also purchase the AudioTheme Framework to do it. I just wanted to double check here if that is the case and to also vent my frustration at that very fact. Anyway, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi there. I don’t think you’ll be able to buy the audiotheme framework, as we can’t import outside themes into WordPress.com. You can only use the premium theme as you bought it. The only customisations you can make are those included in the theme and ones you can make with CSS.

    Keep in mind that the WordPress.com version of the theme is different from the self-hosted version you can see on their demo page. As far as I know there is no option for video galleries on WordPress.com, regardless of theme. WordPress.com simply doesn’t offer that functionality as it’s not a plugin that’s built into the platform.

    However, as Obsidian is a premium theme, it might have additional features. Please post in Obsidian’s premium themes forum. There you can get an answer directly from the theme designer on what’s possible and how you might be able to do what you want to do. http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/obsidian
