Add topic to favorites
I’m trying to get my blog page photo to show on the front page, in between About and Contact…unfortunately i’m not getting the hang of this :/ Many thanks for help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which photo are you trying to add in that space? Is it already uploaded to your media library?

Yes I really just want it to be placed there..any photo really is ok as I don’t seem to get it back on to the home page..I would like to have the three photos under the big one..and for it to say Blog..not sure how I managed to make it all disappear 🙈😬 thank you for responding 🙏🏻

Hey there –

The Instagram widget was listed under 2 different widget locations. I’ve removed the additional Instagram widget and you can now see it in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Under Footer 2 you’ll see I’ve added the Twitter Timeline widget. This still needs a bit more attention from you. Update the widget with your specific account details. To do that click on My Sites > Customize > Widgets > Footer 2 > Twitter Timeline. These are the full instructions for the Twitter Timeline Widget:

You’ll see it says “follow me on twitter” right now. But you can customize that through the above steps.

For the last bit, the Blog page. Once you add a post it will publish on the Blog page. But because this page is assigned for these publications it acts a bit differently within the theme compared to the pages at the right and left, the About and Contact pages.

I’ve added 2 test posts to the Blog page that is set up between the About and Contact areas on the front page. You can click around to see how that will look with the current home page template that is in use. You are not limited to this choice however, take a look at these different page template options here: https://wordpress.com/themes/edin/

Hello again…I am so sorry…I still have no photo that pops up on front page which should be above blog..as there is above About and Contact..The photo of the chairs and beach is on the blog but doesn’t go on the front page :/ Is that not possible…and do I rearrange the order and maybe put blog where contact are..oh dear I am so rubbish at this never done this before… I’m probably a lost case hahaha.

The image for the Blog page is not going to display the same way because the Blog page is special, it is the publication page for your posts. It’s not the same as the Contact and About pages.
